KAMAN'S MICRO DIGITAL
ADVANTAGE: EASY-TO-USE DIGITAL SIGNAL CONDITIONING
Kaman, for 30 years the world leader
in high-precision inductive position measuring systems,
now offers a high-performance digital measurement system
that is very easy to use. Set-up is quick. You can calibrate
the system yourself with only six keystrokes on the
front panel.
- Select "CALIBRATE" mode.
- Select "SENSOR 1" or "SENSOR
2".
- Set "MIN" point.
- Set "MID" point.
- Set "MAX" point.
- Select "RUN" mode.
Smaller
KµDA's low-profile, anodized aluminium
enclosure with a footprint of only 5 x 7.5 inches and
their small sensors are perfect for installations where
space is limited. For even tighter space constraints
in OEM applications, Kaman offer custom configurations
to fit your design.
Smarter
KµDA is extremely flexible and compatible
with a complete family of sensors. If you change application
parameters (range, offset, etc.) and/or switch to a
different sensor, you do not have to replace electronic
components or return it to the factory to be able to
make your next measurement. With this kind of flexibility,
one system can work in many applications. Initial settings
are stored in nonvolatile memory, so that if you shut
off or lose power, you do not have to reset these parameters.
Faster
With a sampling rate up to 10,000
samples per second, KµDA is ideal for high-speed
sampling in monitoring vibration, runout, or eccentricity;
in high-performance stepper or servo control; or in
other demanding applications.
