Ixthus Instrumentation renews ISO 14001 accreditation Following recent assessments, Ixthus Instrumentation has successfully renewed its ISO 14001: 2015 accreditation. The internationally recognised standard is designed to help businesses and organisations reduce their environmental footprint and improve sustainability performance through the implementation of a comprehensive environmental management system. Re-certification required all environmental areas impacted by Ixthus’ operation to be assessed, with a focus on continual improvement and optimising procedures and processes. Ixthus Instrumentation is part of Variohm Group, and the approval includes its sister company Variohm Eurosensor’s site in Towcester, England. Variohm Eurosensor specialises in designing, manufacturing and supplying custom sensor solutions. Graham Pattison, Variohm Group managing director, said: “We are committed to identifying, managing and reducing our impact on the environment and ISO 14001 continues to be a fantastic framework to help meet our environmental and sustainability responsibilities.” Ixthus Instrumentation’s sister company, Positek, has recently achieved ISO 14001 for the first time.
